I found a huge difference in speed if you use the proper SCSI harddisk,
they seem to vary greatly. My SCSI Disk gives me about 1500 KB/s under
DOS (Norton sysinfo), as far as I know well beyond any IDE drive.
You get SCSI drives between 1000-3000 KB/S as far as I know.
We had another system using Adpatec 1542b (16 ISA SCSI adapter) and upgraded to
Adaptec 27402T (EISA 32 bit adapter) on a 32 MB NT server, it had no real impact
on the performance, the drives where to slow.
